Free Web page translation button

Of course you want people to read your website even if they can't read English.  Here's a free translate button you can add to your web page http://translation-cloud.com/translate-this/?dropdown=y  As one of those language challenged people who only speaks English (AKA an American) I can't vouch for the accuracy of the translation, just that its a cool button that claims to translate into 53 languages.

Free Webinar tools

Over the years the question of how to get a group of people from different places to concentrate on some information either for training or to make decisions has usually been answered with a meeting. That frequently means losing half a day to drive to and from. A number of free tools now available that make it possible to conduct training or a meeting without the travel. You may have heard of GoToMeeting which is a big player and offers a 30 day free trial. There is a simple free alternative called www.join.me.com The presenter initiates the process by selecting "share" from the join.me website. This generates a code that can be emailed to the other participants. The participants get an email, click the link and then can see what is on the presentor's computer screen. There is a conference call feature (not toll free but if you've got free minutes on your cell it works) for audio. Like most free things on the internet, there is a fancier version that allows you to switch from one presentor to another for a fee.

Free event registration tool

You've probably already discovered that you can use Facebook to create an event to invite your Facebook friends to something. But sometimes we want to invite folks whose email addresses we have but who aren't our Facebook friends or might not even be on Facebook. That can lead to multiple RSVP lists and be a pain in the neck. Eventbrite is an online tool that could be the answer. For free events there is no charge. If you are selling tickets, the tool makes it easy for people to buy online with a credit card (for a fee charged to the event organizer). The system even has a tool to let you print name tags from the RSVP list.
